It involves asking a carefully structured series of questions as light pressure is applied to a muscle group, usually an outstretched arm.
The skill of a kinesiologist is to detect subtle changes in muscle tone as your body responds to the questions automatically. These responses are not consciously generated but rather come from a deeper level where an understanding of symptoms and an awareness of cause are accessible.

But kinesiology is much more than a form of communication enabling your body to answer questions.
It provides an opportunity for you to change in a very positive way and overcome long standing and destructive stresses. Healing these stresses is key to the success of kinesiology. This creates an harmonious balance in body and mind and good health can be re-established.

It enables you to understand why you have developed symptoms and it gives you the tools to overcome them to create a life of contentment and wellness.

A therapy session:

An example, if someone presents with IBS, after explaining and demonstrating the kinesiology process we will take time to build a comprehensive history of symptoms and other life events which may be relevant.
Muscle monitoring will then be used to highlight food allergies and nutritional needs. This technique will also uncover the emotional stresses undermining the bodies ability to maintain good health.
